Plugin Installation

Smart Marketing Blocks is a WordPress block plugin for the Gutenberg editor.

Requirements

  • WordPress 6.5 or newer.
  • PHP 7.4 or newer.
  • WordPress administrator permissions to install and activate the plugin.
  • Node.js and npm are required only when installing from repository source files.

Installing from a ZIP Archive

  1. Open the WordPress admin area.
  2. Go to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin.
  3. Select the smart-marketing-blocks.zip plugin ZIP archive.
  4. Click Install, then Activate.
  5. After activation, open Settings -> Smart Marketing Blocks.

Manual Installation

  • Copy the smart-marketing-blocks folder to wp-content/plugins/.
  • Open Plugins in the WordPress admin area.
  • Activate Smart Marketing Blocks.
  • Check the block list in the post or page editor.

If Blocks Do Not Appear

  • Make sure the plugin is activated.
  • Check Settings -> Smart Marketing Blocks: the block may be disabled.
  • If the block is a Pro block, make sure Pro plugin is installed.
  • Clear the site cache and browser cache if asset caching is enabled.
